Hi everyone, my name is Danny Rainer! Not too long ago, I decided to leave my job in New
York City and move to the other side of the world with the love of my life.
James and I met in college and did long distance for nearly two years while James played basketball overseas. After five years together, we got engaged in January! {You can see pictures from our surprise proposal party here} In February, I packed up my bags and hopped on a flight to China. I started this blog to share
all of my adventures and experiences abroad with my friends and family back

Where I Live
James and I currently live in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Province in Southern China. It is a relatively small city by Chinese standards, but there are still 1.7 million people living here! This is James' third season playing with the Guangxi Rhinos.
